I've been drawing a lot of stuff, but it's all on paper with colored pencils. So here is my only lately digital drawing. It could mean so many things, and yet I have no clue. It might just be one of a thousand of the different results of boredom... don't artists just have so many of these kinds of things? Mostly if they're still in school.

New stuff

I was playing with this drawing program--scribbles--(I actually always use it.) And I figured out a sort of cool technique. It doesn't work that wonderfully but it is fun to play with. Start with a drawing.

Then draw a big gray over that drawing--about halfway between black and white, and in a layer underneath the drawing.

Then use the soft eraser tool for highlights (light), and use a little darker of a gray than the background for the really dark shadows. This is the hard part that takes a lot of practice and a lot of other tutorials than this one. This is just a technique for if you already know how to draw, not a "How To Draw--For Beginners" kind of thing.

Next use the colors you want the person to be to color him in a layer underneath. Oh, and get rid of the line drawing and shape up the edges.

It's a little faded and... I dunno. It's just fun to play with. It would be fun to try different starting colors--the background. I would like to see any drawings using this, see how it works out with other attempts

Dead Plushie Wednesday

Ok, so I just made this thing called ... DEADPLUSHIEWEDNESDAY!!! (It's scarier in caps lock.) So what I'm gonna do, is only post my dead-plushie drawings every Wednesday. For today though I just did the title for my dead-plushie drawing. Like it? Please comment. I'm going to change the url on Friday to www.deadplushie.blogspot.com  Okay? Okay.



Oh yeah, and I've got a bunch of stuff coming, but being held back because of DPW (dur, dead plushie wednesday) so keep checking for more... please?

...I love princess bride. If you can't recognize them... sorry. The one on top is Wesley and the other is Vincini. Just a few black and white "studies"..... I can't help but laugh when I type stuff like that. I'm not that official. I like Vincini best. 

Obsessed

I've been obsessed with drawing alot lately, so I have a bunch of drawings. My favorite is the easter bunny. The bunny is probably what, in this cruel world, the easter bunny would look like if he were real.
The others are just a bunch of weird people.
